"Chlamydia is the most frequently reported bacterial sexually transmitted disease (STD)in the country. In 2002, over 800,000 cases of chlamydia were reported to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Gonorrhea is also a very common STD. The CDC estimates that more than 700,000 persons in the U.S. get new gonorrheal infections each year. The Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Test is a urine test that will detect the presence of bacteriums Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Positive results may require further evaluation by your physician."
